NCOIC, Combat Sustainment Support Battalion Provides support for hardware, software, communication devices, local area networks and wide area networks for Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation (ULLS-A) assists users with system and network access installs, operates, and maintains satellite and information systems equipment valued in excess of $1,000,000 responsible for local networks: four Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSAT), Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS), Combat Service Support Automated Information System Interface (CAISI) and other peripheral devices including routers and switches trains and assists administrative users within the battalion. UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter Repairer/SASMO attached Serves as the 1st Air Cavalry Brigades (ACB) Support Operations SGM provides sustainment for over 6,000 ground vehicles and equipment, and 155 rotary wing aircraft plans, coordinates, synchronizes and manages sustainment support for the ACB, including fuel, ammunition, transportation, mortuary affairs, Sustainment Support Management Office (SASMO), air and ground maintenance management responsible for the leadership, mentorship and training of 24 Officers, Warrant Officers, NCOs and Soldiers. Serves as a Sustainment Automation Support Management Office (SASMO) Information Systems Analyst responsible for the installation of software, validation, and maintenance of Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS) for 4th Sustainment Brigade and III Corps' separate units troubleshoots all Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) software and hardware issues ensures that all STAMIS systems are on the latest Software Change Package (SCP) responsible for adding STAMIS systems to the network and ensuring that File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is configured. ![]() ![]() Serves as the Sustainment Automation Support Management Office (SASMO) NCOIC for the day to day management of all operations in support of the UNIT NAME, supporting the NEXT HIGHER directly responsible for SASMO property valued at over $50,000 provides support for over 100 Logistical Information Systems (LIS) within the brigade provides training and oversight to the section personnel on new equipment fielding responsible for the welfare and training of two NCOs and two Soldiers.
